Privacy notice
This website is deliberately simple and collects the minimum personal data needed to operate.
Contact form
When you request a scoping call, the form collects your name, work email, organisation, role, optional organisation size, the type of support you need, your message, your timeframe and, optionally, how you found this website.
- Purpose. To respond to your request and assess whether an engagement makes sense. This is the only purpose; your data is not used for marketing and is never sold or shared with third parties.
- Storage. Submissions are stored in a private database (Amazon DynamoDB, AWS, EU region) and trigger a single notification email to Bernardo (Amazon SES).
- Retention. Submissions are kept while the request is active and for up to 24 months afterwards, then deleted.
- Your rights. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by writing through the contact form or replying to any email from Bernardo.
AI assistant ("Ask Bernardo")
The assistant answers from an approved set of professional information. Conversations are anonymous: no account or personal data is required.
Your conversation is kept in your own browser so the assistant can follow the thread, and it is sent with each question so it can answer in context. It is not stored on the server: closing the tab clears it. The question text is passed to OpenAI, which processes it to generate the reply.
On the server, only operational metadata is kept (timestamp, an anonymous session identifier, response latency, token counts, error state and a broad question category), to monitor cost and abuse. Please do not enter personal or confidential information into the assistant.
Analytics
This site uses cookieless, privacy-conscious analytics (aggregate page views and a small set of interaction events such as "contact form submitted"). No cookies are set, no cross-site tracking occurs and no personal identifiers are collected.
Hosting
The site is served by AWS Amplify Hosting. Standard technical logs (IP address, user agent) may be processed transiently by the hosting infrastructure for security and delivery.
